美しい日本料理 Beautiful Japanese Cuisine

先日、友人と「梅芯庵」というレストランへ行ってきました。
140年以上の歴史を持つ和菓子の老舗が開いた和食のお店です。HPの「お品書き」のところを見て下さい。どの料理も本当に美しい!いろいろな種類の野菜を取り入れたメニューが多く、とてもヘルシーでした。一瞬「青汁?」と思った小松菜のスパークリングジュースは、程よい甘さの冷たい飲み物でした。会席コース料理は、少しずつ色々なものが出て来て、目にも楽しく、お腹もいっぱいになりました。最後に料理長さんが挨拶に来てくれて、おまけの「大福」までごちそうになりました。美味しかった!

I went to a restaurant called ‘Baishinan’ with my friend the other day. The Japanese-style confectionary which runs this restaurant has over 140 years of history. Please check out the‘お品書き(menu)’on their HP. Every dish is very beautiful! Their cuisine uses many kinds of vegetables and they are very healthy. At first, I thought it was ‘kale juice?’ but it wasn't. It was sparkling juice made from ‘komatsuna’, a Japanese green vegetable like spinach. It was a moderately sweet and cold drink. The set of dishes served on the individual trays were for entertaining the guests. I could enjoy the dishes with my eyes and I was full. At the end, the chef came to greet us and gave us one of their sweets, ‘Daifuku’. It was delicious!
