Doughnuts

Recently, the first shop of 'Krispy Kreme Doughnuts' in Japan opened at the Southern Terrance in Shinjuku. There were many people waiting in a long line in front of the shop. I asked one of the staff how long I needed to wait to buy some doughnuts. He said that it would take about 90 minutes. Wow! I thought it was almost the same situation as when I was waiting to ride some popular attractions at Tokyo Disneyland. I don’t want to wait such a long time, so maybe I can eat some six months later. Now I’m just wondering how delicious they are.

Hello Kozy-san,

Krispy Kremes are very popular in the New York area, but to be honest, I have never eaten one.

Hello Michael-san,

My students said that the doughnut is greasy and too sweet. But a student who is from California wants to eat it in Japan, because he's never eaten it in America. It's interesting!

They are VERY sweet. I'm surprised Japanese even like them, I would think too sweet for their taste. I dislike them for there sweetness. I can only eat one.

Hello Zen-san

I've heard almost the same things.
But I don't hear anything about it from someone who ate their doughnuts yet.
Now I'm curious about their taste;)
